How to write a brief

To help ensure JNPcreative delivers exactly what you have in mind, we will need you to write a clear brief. It doesn’t take long and will help limit any unforeseen issues arising with production.

Step 1 - What do you want us to do?

To get things started we need to find out what you are looking for in your creative, and what it is you want to bring to life. We’ll also need to know what channels and formats you need your assets in, and it will be helpful to know who you are targeting and what your objective is. We will also need to know if you have any current business assets you want included, for example: Company logo, brand colours etc.

Step 2 - Additional details and copy

Please include as much detail as possible - more is better! If you’ve seen anything that has caught your eye and you would like us to follow a similar style in for your project then share these and we can work with this in mind.

We MUST have any copy for the assets we will be creating, this can be included in the form you submit, or, you can send it to us once the job has been booked in and confirmed if you still need time to develop the copy. Please note amendments to copy once a project has been started may be subject to charge. Please read our terms and conditions to find out more about amendments.

Step 3 - Timings

When do you want your creative assets delivered? We need to know this so we can can book it in our schedule and make sure we have everything ready to send before your deadline.
